I'm in the market to get a bonsai tree to brighten up ye olde office. A few years back, there were people selling bonsai trees out of their cars on every corner, now I can't seem to find any @ all. I've tried the farmer's market to no avail. Anyone have a local source in the raleigh/cary cary area? I'd like to avoid ordering them through the mail if it all possible.

How big are you wanting it to be? Lowe's has some smaller ones. At least they did a few months ago at the one at Maynard/Evans.

I just got one at Whole Foods, off of 15-501 I think is the road but I'm sure if they have them the one on Wade Ave would also.

It'll be for my desktop, so something about the dimensions of an average size shoebox @ the most. You guys happen to remember the variety of tree purchased @ Lowes and Whole foods?

They were the right size for what you're looking for but that's all I know. Call and ask.
