Anyone know of any Calc 3 professors that don't use maple as part of your grade or even ones that only use it for like 5%? 4/15/2009 8:47:33 PM |

yeah they're required to make you use it. But as BigEgo said, Norris hates it. It only counts 0.5% of your grade. Sign up for him. 4/15/2009 8:59:49 PM |

norris makes the maple assignments. he's in charge of all that shit. don't mind these dumbasses.
unfortunately, pretty much every teacher is gonna have to make you do maple. get the old ones from a friend who took it last semester and just change it to your numbers. 4/15/2009 9:15:26 PM |

I second hershculez. I use Maple whenever I can't figure something out quickly by hand. That said, I had Norris for 242. 9 Maple assignments with him. He's good at it since he write all the assignments for Calculus. Pretty good teacher too.! 4/16/2009 8:42:34 AM |

calc 3 maples are way easier than calc 2, or you could just get someone else who has the answers to give them to you 4/16/2009 3:59:21 PM |

It most certainly did. There were so many times in my finite element class when I'd have to do a triple integral on an expression that takes half a page the write. Maple destroyed that crap in like 2 seconds.4/16/2009 4:21:12 PM |

Learn how to use your math, science, and engineering software because if you actually work as an engineer you'll be doing most of your work through software that is as cumbersome or more so than Maple, MatLAB, AutoCAD, et al.
Also what they said^ ^^ 4/23/2009 12:23:35 AM |
