Who would sell one of these locally? I'm trying to replace the LCD screen on my macbook pro and two of the screws to remove the top part of the case requires a TORX T6 screw driver which is lame in my opinion because everything else is phillips. 4/22/2009 1:07:30 PM |

$5.98 http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=239384-16878-60272&lpage=none
And it's probably there to deter someone who can't find a T6 from attempting an LCD swap.

^^exactly. every other screw is a phillips so why make some torx? At least now I have one for future use. 4/22/2009 8:50:31 PM |

if you can find this anywhere (lowes used to sell it, i haven't seen it around there lately though), get it. it's like $10, and has every screwdriver you'd ever need for electronics work, including torx and the really small phillips drivers (like size 000)
