'97 Saturn SL-1 4-door
1.9L 5-speed manual
159k miles, rebuilt engine has ~15k
Kelly Blue Book $1315

MY CAR: I hate to let this little car go, it's been good to me, but I need a truck. It isn't perfect but it runs well and doesn't need any immediate fixes.

The Bad:
-driver side door won't lock
-no gas cap door (locking cap installed) or passenger side mirror
-no a/c, condenser crossthreaded and won't hold a charge, easy fix
-could use a new headliner
-eats a small amount of oil, I add a quart every 1500 miles or so
-wipers are about shot

The Good:
-rebuilt engine has plenty of life left in it
-aftermarket Infinity speakers
-new transmission linkage cables
-never wrecked, no dents
-fairly new tires
-Engine, transmission/drivetrain, chassis all solid


I know it's dirty in the pics, just imagine it all cleaned up! It's comfortable, fun to drive, and would be a great daily driver or first car. I usually get 30-35mpg out of a tank with about half city driving.

YOUR TRUCK: I'm looking for a 4- or 6-cyl Chevy S-10, Ford Ranger, or similar. I'm not concerned with minor cosmetic flaws or "character" but it must be in good running condition as it will be my primary vehicle. I also don't care what year it is, I even like older trucks, as long as it will last me a while. Must be manual, and 4x4 and camper would be preferable.

haha yeah i'm continually suprised at how many people recognize my car, not really sure why...plenty of cars out there with stickers
