I'm pretty sure I still have one from my old laptop. Need to know if your friend needs the older 16 volt adapter or the newer 20v one. Or just let us know what model computer it is.

I'm assuming your friend means 'power adapter'... I have some of the newer adapters... depends on which Thinkpad (and if discrete or integrated graphics).

^they did until Lenovo purchased them. First time the adapter has changed in what... 15+ years?

So you have 2 choices. 2004 (T42, R51 ish) or older, or 2005 (T60 R?? X?? ish) and newer.

^ Yep. I have a spare that I used with my A22 and X30 laptops. Will work fine on the older stuff, but if you're using a newer one I can't help you out.
