I respectfully disagee, and in turn propose this to be, without a doubt, the greatest cooking invention ever.

What about a pan where there's no edge pieces?

^that looks like I'm baking in a paint tray...

Why would you want that anyway? The left/top portion would all burn before the rest is fully cooked.

What about a pan that automatically chops off the edges and throws them at homeless people?

just put the mix on a flat cookie sheet
concentrate real hard and use the force to keep the edges straight up

^middle of the brownie TO YOU!

With that pan, you could cook the whole thing in less time, and the edge pieces wouldn't be all overdone. It'd be the neatness of edge pieces with the doneness of middle pieces combined into the Voltron lower torso of brownies.

It's also be a big bitch to clean due to the higher surface area and more corners.

Do we really need the exclamation point? Because it's not "top of the muffin *TO YOU!*"

^^that my friend is how hamburgers were first cooked. that's at louis' lunch - the birthplace of hamburgers. they were served on toasted bread.

the above picture is a vertical cooking stove. the patties were formed and placed in small metal cages and then placed in the stove

& the process is very similar to a modern Weber 'bullet' smoker. Leaves a nice flavor in the meat too.

yeah, i'm thinking some kind of spherical baking pan that bakes the brownies into a globe, with no edges.
of course.... i guess you'd have to bake it in space

its pretty clear that there is a distinct separation between edge eaters and middle eaters

maybe thats why we have the brownie pan that we all know... so everyone gets what they want out of the same batch of brownies
