I purchased Goomba from a breeder back in September (born July 2008). "She" is now well over 12" and comes with a 40 gallon breeder tank, a large bag of aspen shavings, 2 UVB/heat bulbs, and a large water dish. I've never had any problems with her, but I'm finding less and less time to give her the attention she deserves and I know this will only get worse when I have my baby this December.

The total purchase and set-up costs were around $400. I'm asking $150 to cover part of the cost. I'd greatly prefer to adopt her out to someone with reptile experience that will be able to take good care of her.

Picture of when I got her:

Newer picture (but she's much bigger now):

Tank (half log has been removed because she never used it):

I'm interested. I have experience with reptiles; I've kept snakes and geckos before. I'm going to read up on blue-tongue skinks before making a decision.

What do you feed her?
How tame is she?
Will she get bigger?

she gets a combination of greens and other veggies (mainly turnip greens, carrots, squash and a fruit here or there) mixed in with a bit of high quality moist cat food. i'd throw in the food i have left, of course. you can also supplement with a multivitamin powder in the food once a week or so, along with a calcium powder once a week or so. the calcium is more important than the vitamin since a balanced diet will pretty much eliminate the need for it.

she's quite tame. she spends a lot of time burrowed (especially close to a shed) but doesn't mind being held and i think she actually gets quite bored when she's left alone for days without interaction. she's never shown any tendency to nip and is relatively chill.

she will get a bit bigger (i've read various sources claiming that they top out between 18-24" nose to tail tip), but she shouldn't need a new cage unless someone preferred to give her more space.

Okay. I want her.

I have some reptile vitamin/calcium powder already so supplementing is no problem. You ever her feed crickets or mealworms? Or just cat food for protein?

For some reason I read 'blue tooth sink + supplies'. I clicked because I was incredibly confused.
