I was thinking about this the other day. I don't know why but I root for JJ Redick in the pros. I'm glad everytime I hear him have a good day. Again, not sure why. It might actually make be a bad person.

Halftime of the game and he is the leading scorer for the Magic; he is 3-5 from three and 4-6 overall for 11 points; just checked the box score b/c I am watching the 'Canes game

He has played pretty well down the stretch for the Magic and so far in the playoffs; it seems to me that the Magic have learned how to use him (run him off picks, etc.)

I was listening to the two live Stews on the way to work this afternoon and they were saying they have been more impressed with him and could see him having a Steve Kerr like impact down the road - which I think is pretty accurate

Redick has a better niche to fit in to though. Though no NBA team will give him much run if he needs a handful of screens every possession to get a shot off...

Hansbrough will get some minutes early on, but I don't think he'll be that effective...

yeah I think we see now why Redick is on the bench. He has been abysmal 16% FG the last three games jesus....

Also, Nick Collison? He's one of the best rebounders in the league. I don't know if I can compare him to Hansboro. Hansboro can barely rebound in college, he won't be able to hit the boards at all at the next level

he averaged like 8 per game for his career and over 10 in 07-08. not saying he'll do that at the pro level necessarily, but he won't be a slouch
