i thought i was being fair too. I'm in the market for an LCDtv. but was also looking for 1080p and something a bit more new. yet also smaller. higher resolution for possible computer usage. but this could definitely work for me too.

You can get a new 720p vizio the same size for what he's asking for that TV. and it wouldn't be a model from 2006.

^x6 I don't buy crappy TVs. Just pointing out that for the same price, a new crappy TV is better than a 3 year old crappy TV.

550 is way too much for that tv...as it appears you're learning.

and yeah, the thread title sucks. how about i lock this failure of a thread and you recreate it with a better title and more realistic pricing?

^^hmm just because i price matched, used the 15% off and got it on sale when it was 1000 originally because I just that good doesn't mean you guys get it for shit just because, hell the girl a couple days ago sold a 30 inch hdtv for 340, or is that because she has a vagina and you guys are nerds so you thought you might get some if you paid more for it?

Yes 550 is unreasonable for the wolf web, so 400 takes it obo will be considered.

go to craigslist. you will find someone who won't look to google the TV. they won't see it on sale 2 years ago for around 50 bucks more than you are asking for it. they won't price match to new models that would probably out perform it. make sure to set the price at 650. then you can knock them down a hundred dollars and they will think they are getting a good deal.

^^^ this is the best advice, and it will most likely work. for the most part, people that buy electronics on craigslist don't know much about what they are buying, nor what it's really worth. If you can give the perception of value, you can get a a lot more from it.

TWW buyers are way more savvy when it comes to actual cost vs. value.

And furthermore, don't mention that you got it at 15% off and price matched it. Say that the TV was worth $1000 when you bought it. They don't need to know how much you actually paid for it.
