Seems like a decent place to look for a general idea of how reliable a certain car will be. They've got the most common problems listed and, if there are a lot of them, the score is adjusted accordingly.

That was all I could really find in the range on their lot. They've got a lot of jeeps there. I only listed those because, apparently, they're listed as being quite reliable (few problems acc to that site). Your best bet sounds like a full size luxury sedan that's 2-4 years old with ~20-60k miles on it.

just find a beat vw touareg. if you want a powerful suv. you can even get it in TDI v6

^^^ Mazdaspeed 3's are NICE damn cars. I haven't driven one, but sitting in it was just so freaking nice. Sat in it at one of the recent car shows. It was very comfortable inside despite how small it was outside. Felt like I had plenty of room to move around.
