This weekend. Games played at State, UNC, and Duke. Schedule hasn't been released yet but Ryan Harrow will be playing in it.

I'm going to wear red and hope that the games don't turn into AND1 streetball. Anyone else going?

Article about C.J. Leslie and the tournament:

In addition to Harrow and Leslie, potential future Wolfpackers Luke Cothron and Mychal Parker will be there. I'm looking forward to some video...

Go. And wear Red.

I'm guessing Harrow is on the M-1 Celtics which is the U17 team.

Fri May 22
DUKE UNIVERSITY - WILSON RECREATION CENTER - COURT #2 COURT #8
9:30 p.m. 17--M-1 Atlanta Celtics vs. M-4 Baltimore Stars

Sat May 23
N.C. STATE UNIVERSITY - REYNOLDS COLISEUM #1 - COURT #9
12:15 p.m. 17--M-3 mid State Magic, NC vs. M-1 Atlanta Celtics

COURT #4 - UNC PRACTICE FACILITY

Do I have that right? They're going to have to hussle to make it to both games Saturday.

2011 SF Branden Dawson, who supposedly has an offer from us, will be at the TOC. He plays for SYF 16 and under, and they are scheduled to play their first game on Saturday at 9:45 am at the Smith Center. Branden hails from Gary, Indiana. Hopefully Julius and Scott can work on him if we get him in for a visit. Both of them played for the SYF Players AAU team, so hopefully that will help too. Purdue is considered the favorite right now, but it's still very early in the recruiting process.

harrow had 32 pts and 9 assists in the afternoon game to lead his team to a 110-106 win, and then dropped 26 in the late game to lead his team to another win.

"SIZE DOESN’T MATTER

Take one look at future N.C. State point guard Ryan Harrow and you’d think he was somebody’s little brother just filling in for the afternoon. Typically the smallest guy on the court during his games with the Atlanta Celtics, Harrow stands 5-foot-10, weighs 150 pounds and his voice is a couple octaves higher than Chris Tucker’s.

But put the ball in his hands and it’s showtime. On Saturday, in what will certainly go down as one of the most action-packed games of this tournament, Harrow scored 32 points and added nine assists in a 110-106 Celtics defeat of the Tennessee Mavericks. After the game, he was immediately swarmed by adoring Wolfpack fans eager to express their excitement.

“It makes me feel great to see that they’re already coming out to see me,” Harrow said. “If that’s what it’s like now, it’ll be crazy once I get here.”

With ridiculous quickness and body control, Harrow seemed to uncork about 25 off-the-dribble moves in Saturday’s game plus probably a dozen more after he was already in the air.

He credits his fearlessness to playing with high school players in his neighborhood when he was in elementary school. And he says he has worked on his in-the-air moves with trainer Mark Edwards.

“He always talks to me about Derrick Rose and the way he switches his body to make plays,” Harrow said. “So we’re always working on getting up in the air and trying to do something with the ball, but using the glass always to score.”"

"ATLANTA CELTICS vs. MEMPHIS STALLIONS
Easily the best game we've seen so far this tournament. Ryan Harrow and company took care of one of the more dangerous teams in their pool in what was a back and forth, run and gun, scoring-fest. Now, we've seen quite a bit of Ryan, probably just as much or more than anyone else, and I can say without a doubt that this was certainly the best we've seen. If there was a question on whether or not Ryan was worthy of that 5th star, I think the question has been answered. A scout in attendance told us that outside of Brandon Knight (#1 PG in 2010), he didn't think that there was a better point guard out there in the class of 2010. What may have seemed like a bold statement at the beginning of the game, didn't seem so far fetched afterward. Filthy crossovers, violent spin moves, no look behind the back passes, and insanely acrobatic finishes, and that's just a small taste of what Harrow had to offer against the Stallions. When pressed for a bucket, it was Ryan who answered, and although he was called for a questionable technical foul for staring down a player after an unbelievable assist, he was calm, cool and collected throughout. Ryan finished with 32 points and a slew of unbelievable assists. (We'll have the official totals later), and a gigantic win for the Celtics that sent them to the playoffs that starts tonight at 10pm at the Dean Dome."

"ATLANTA CELTICS vs. DC ASSAULT
In the first round of the final tournament, Ryan Harrow and company had quite the task. DC Assault was sporting some big names in Tyler Thornton and Joshua Hairston, both 2010 Duke commits. Harrow vs. Thornton was the matchup that everyone was waiting for, however it didn't turn out to be the scrappy head to head showdown many were anticipating. Harrow and Thornton were back and forth to start the game and Thornton seemed to be the one in control...that was until Ryan crossed left, spun right and finished with a scoop shot over Hairston. From that point on it became the Ryan Harrow show. With fellow 2010 NC State recruit Mychal Parker watching from the sidelines in awe, Ryan dazzled those in attendance by scoring at will over the Duke commit. He had the ball on a string as he split triple teams with ease and finished with contact almost every time he got in the paint. We've seen a lot of basketball and a lot of AAU players, but none like Ryan Harrow. This is one of the more unique talents on the circuit right now. His ability to make split second decisions correctly on the break on a consistent basis is mind boggling. Ryan finished with 26 points and around 7 assists. Walking out of the Dean Dome the exiting fans were buzzing about #4, and they should be after witnessing another stellar performance by the NC State commit. We'll have the video of this sometime tomorrow, and it's definitely a must see.

Ryan will play at 9am tomorrow in the Dean Dome and will continue to play until they lose. "

I almost got excited until I realized that WPH wrote those summaries. Gonna wait until someone without a pro-ncsu agenda corroborates.

^ while they have a little more hyperbole, so far their analysis is in line with other standard observations. Maybe you don't like that they talk to the kid and his mom more than the N&O?

^^the first one isn't WPH. It's from the Fayettville Observer. The poster even provides a link.

What are you going to wait for, someone other than WPH to tell you that a 32-point game followed by a 26-point game in AAU ball is impressive?
