2 standard gray, male chinchillas. I bought one 3 years ago, and the other was given to me 2 weeks ago from someone who had to get rid of him in a bind, but didn't want to go to the SPCA.

They are in separate cages. Both are very friendly, and are your basic chinchilla.

I am selling them separately or together to someone who can show they know how to take care of this unique little buff balls.

$50 each with cage and accessories, or both for $75. Not negotiable.

Well...you know...it is your standard model...but they're still pretty sporty...squirrel tail-spoiler, luxury fur coat, and new upgraded grasping paws for jumping and grabbing food.

One is your basic one level pan cage, the other is a 3 level. Though, either way $50 is WAY cheap for an animal with a cage, specially since chins run over $100.

^^ 200-300 depending on the size of the coat, and if they're pet store quality, it would be a pretty crappy coat, trust me

poor babies :-( I hope you find a good home for them - you could try listing them on chins-n-hedgies.com where there are many educated chin pet owners who may take them in

$50 is a great deal...

Ive been thinking about getting another one so that they can talk and play and high five each other and go on sweet trips to white castle... but my wife says no...

do you think their quality of life will be better with a second chin around?

muzition it depends on if they have been raised together or not. males will generally fight with eachother. we have 2 brothers that have been together forever and the parents were together without incident.

Chins do not need to be paired to have a great life. If they've never been around another chin, they'll do just fine alone. A lot of people like to get a second chin if they can't spend enough time with their first though. Theres a chance that 2 chins won't get along, and you'll end up with two chins in separate cages. I've dealt with it, nothing you can do about it, but if you can get two chins paired together that get along, then you're good to go. One thing to know though - they may not always get along. I had a pair of chins that got along for years and one day they were at each other's throats. They will kill each other, don't think they won't.

That's not true. You can have two chins that are raised together that will not get along with each other. You can have two male chins from opposite sides of the world, 10 years in age difference paired together and they will get along fine. Bonded males do not fight more than bonded females. Each chin has their own personality and you can't guarantee that any 2 chins will get along. It depends on the situation, but males do not generally fight with each other. There is an introduction process that you need to go through when pairing up chins, and sometimes it can take months. I've had chins get along from the beginning, others I can't put together (male/female pairs - remember, I am a breeder). Males will fight with each other if they're put in with a female, but putting two males together will not always cause them to fight, they can be put together if you take the time to properly introduce them. Please research.
