Trying to track down this strange wobble i feel at "medium" speeds. I just replaced the front wheel bearings and tires (recently, with balancing). The head bearings seem 'alright' (no crunchiness when rotating left to right with front tire in the air) but who knows if that's a legitimate test. Its not very severe but i sure as hell won't take my hands off the bars at speed. Could this be a wheel alignment problem? Rear wheel bearing, maybe? It's a shitbox '72 C500 four. 6/23/2009 10:14:19 PM |

My 75 yamaha does the same thing. Fourty-five mph is rough on the wrists. Seventy mph is the end of life as we know it.

maybe, but i would have assumed that this would have showed up when they balanced it. By 'they' I mean that Suzuki/Ducati place on Lake Wheeler. 6/24/2009 3:13:06 AM |
