i make it a rule to support Pipes by George for all of my tobacco needs. on hillsborough street in that small strip right before west morgan splits off.

btw be sure to bring cash, he prefers not to use credit cards for purchases under $30 or so. the second time i ever went there i bought two cigars that were like $6/ea and went to pay w/ a credit card, having no cash, and he told me just to get him back next time i came in. i can't think of anywhere else in the world that would do that barely knowing me.

George is cool, he let me keep about half a box of cigars in his humidor til I got a decent one. Tell him what you need them for and he can steer you in the right direction. The Tinderbox has had some pimply faced kids working there that didn't know shit sometimes, other times they have been great.
