Anybody work on 50cc Motor Scooters (also known as a drunkmobile)???
I have a United Motors 50cc 2005 X-peed that won't start.
I have cash in hand.
I want to get this thing to the beach as quick as I can.

have you checked the obvious things like the battery and connections? will it just not turn over? does it try?

tripleD4u is who i'd recommend as well, but i don't know if he's around (i called a few months ago and never heard back)...the guy at scoot scoot inc seemed like a knowledgeable, nice guy with plenty of business, but i've not actually worked with him

Thanks for the info. TripleD4u was gonna do it and I basically hired him but haven't heard back. He gave me a good price and all and sounded like he knew his shit but apparently something came up. So still looking!

i think ryan (tripleD4u) is pretty busy, but he definitely knows his stuff...i used to do computer repairs outside my normal job of computer repairs and after a while it because a huge hassle and i dreaded working on the same thing i did all day, money or not

Yeah, I understand that completely. Shit gets old I know! I ain't complaining.
(I hope he changes his mind though, cause I'm willing to give him an extra $50 just for knocking it out)

Meanwhile I'll just drive my car....(which bores me)

I used to go to Scoot Scoot, but now they merged with Scooterz Inc on Hillsborough. As far as I'm concerned those guys are legitimate. Always fixed mine.
