Apparently Sci-Fi is now Syfy???

This show had a lot of potential, and turned out to be hokey as a mother fucker.

The purple goo is just too much for me to bear. The entire show could have done without the "neutralizing" shit.

Yeah... I started to pick up a serious X-Files vibe towards the end. 2 hours of that show was a bit much. I don't think it will be that long every time.

I couldn't even make it through the first hour. I fell asleep watching it around 10.

Yeah I think 2 hours is too much, but glad the regular episodes are only an hour. It has some "hokey" things, but it kept my interest. I'll probably lock it in on the DVR and follow it for at least a few more episodes.

its was way too Syfy for me.

I agree with the earlier comment - had a good X-Files vibe to it then just turned into another show on the Sci-Fi channel. The kind of show that when you turn to it you're like WTF is this then move on.

I was referring more to the archetypal characters. The "locked-in" male lead and the skeptical, but willing, female partner.

It was really hokey, but mostly from a budget standpoint. Syfy (aarrggghhh) just can't afford to do a show like this properly. It has potential though, I think.

A buddy and I were talking about this today. For being the sci-fi channel, thier special effects are horrible.

all but for BSG...the new stargate series starting this fall looks to have potential and it seems to have morphed to more of a BSG type of show than the series's history

finally watched the entire show last night. i didnt hate it but i didnt love it either. no need for it to be 2 hours right off the bat.

the dude pouring the gas and lighting himself on fire was pretty badass but they missed out on not cutting back to him even for a split second.

Myka was hot as hell in last night's episode. Also the song they played during the "chase" through the warehouse was great.

the wife is one of the stars of Eureka, "Jo" the asst sheriff. I hope they bring this show back next season. Really like it.

second half of the season just started back up. Really good episode. It's nice to see some of the characters fleshed out and it'll be interesting to see how everyone reacts to what Artie did.


Also the conversation between Pete and James Marsters' character about vampires was funny.

Yea we watched the season premiere last week when they posted it early on Hulu and SyFy. Between this coming back on and Defiance just starting, I am actually tuning in to SyFy again, which hasn't happened since Eureka and SGU got canned.

I actually like this show. Not nearly as much as, say, Numb3rs or The Newsroom, but I definitely like it.
