Never removed the rear hub before. I have to replace some lug bolts and the need to be pressed from the back. I've got the rear brakes covers off but that's as far as i've gotten. I don't see and type of collar ring locking it in place. It looks like it just slides into the axle. i also need to remove the wheel cylinder. any advice would be appreciated. 7/11/2009 1:02:14 PM |

These trucks run an 8.8 ford axle? no?
if so, you're going to have to pull the diff cover, remover the center pin from the carrier, and remove the c-clips from the end of the axleshaft you are trying to remove. 7/11/2009 1:43:09 PM |
