this post is about my mom's pet conure. he's about 9 years old, loud, a little difficult to handle and nervous about being held and touched, but he's a very beautiful bird and has his endearing moments. unfortunately he is so loud my dad is evicting him. any bird lovers want to take on a challenge?

Wow.. the bird sounds exactly like my dad's lilac topped amazon.. when she wasn't drawing blood or being horrible to my mom she was kind of sweet. If I didn't have attached neighbors I'd be all for it. However I think they would take a serious dislike to the concept

If I had the extra room I'd take him. I have a jenday con, which are louder than sun conures. I already have 15 birds in my living room though, my husband would kill me if I had another.
