My 1 year old laptop has been running fine, however, there is a problem with the power plug that goes into the laptop.

I have an Acer Aspire 6920 and when I plug the cord into the laptop, I have to fiddle with it for 15 minutes to get it to start charging. And after a while, it stops and I have to fiddle around with it again.
Its very annoying.

I googled and found this, I am not sure if this is the solution or not, but it appears that it needs some soldering somewhere. I am thinking about buying another power cord just to see, but I am not sure.

I am not sure how much this will cost, but if you think you can do it, please let me know how much you want.

I am be on campus all of next week from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

THanks
