Anyone use it? If you do I'd love to hear what you think about it.

I've seen it in Target a few times now, and today it was $4.39 for (2) 12-oz bottles, vs. $13.49 for (2) 12-oz bottles of Alcon Opti-Free Replenish.

I've used the Opti-Free Express and now the Replenish solution since I started wearing contacts in the 7th grade -- I'm now 23. Never had any issues with it, but $9 difference per box isn't something to sneeze at if I can get something that works just as well.

Just figured that if the Target brand stuff is any good I'd get a bunch of them while they're on sale and save a lot of money. The boxes in there right now have an expiration date 06/2011 so I could get almost a 2-year's supply for relatively cheap compared to the name brand solution.

Used it for a few years and haven't had any complaints. As long as your eyes aren't sensitive to a particular brand. Target brand solution is generic formula for saline made by bausch and lomb, Alcon etc. They bid to have their formula used by target, so it's never the same formula every year unless either of those company's win that bid.

ive used it and have never had any problems with it. if its only 4.39 it might not be a bad idea to buy a box, pull your contacts out, wear glasses for a few hours and put them back in.

it's great! i can't tell the difference between the name brands and the generics--target rite aid, wal-mart brand, etc.

definitely a do! especially in these "hard economic times"

For the most part, generic CL solutions are just repackaged expired name brand solutions.

I never have a problem with Target brand contact lens stuff, but I'll never use the Whole Foods version again. I had a serious reaction to something in it that made my eyes red for 2 weeks straight. It was very odd, considering I don't have particularly sensitive eyes.

question,

I am a new contacts wearer, however, my eyes start to feel really tired and uncomfortable after 2-3 hours.

I use Opti-free and I have the monthly disposable kind soft lenses.

Any suggestions?

^You will get acclimated to it. I have used the Target stuff but I swear it was inferior and made my eyes really dry. I switched to the name brand stuff and haven't looked back.

Going a day or two without wearing the contacts helps with irritation. I tried wearing contacts but my eyes got so dry I had to give up. At first I had to wear glasses once a week, then twice, every other day, and it got to the point where my eyes were so dry it just wasn't worth it. This wasn't caused by the contacts, other medical crap I had going on at the time.

I've got a bunch of bottles of name brand solution if you want them cheap.

I've been using the Target brand for a while, it works perfectly fine.

On another note, I just switched over to Acuvue Oasys lenses and they are incredible. Best lenses I have ever used. Well worth it.
