they had them on a lot of the ads for that upcoming movie "9" while at comic con. my friend scanned one and it was just a link to some trailer or something lame. 8/3/2009 6:29:53 PM |

This shit has been out forever. I only use them to download cabs directly from http://www.freewarepocketpc.net
Inigma will read them for WinMo. I'm more interested in finding the best 2D barcode reader that looks up prices on amazon and such. 8/3/2009 6:57:39 PM |

I don't expect they'll catch on in the US. Bokode is neat, but it's bulk is more than you can place on a business card. 8/3/2009 9:30:50 PM |

15 years is not forever, and the fact that 99% of the US population doesnt know what they are yet means they certainly will become more popular. 8/4/2009 8:31:12 AM |

i had some posts a little while back about how blackberry is pushing them with the new messenger.
it's a neat gimmick, i just don't see it being useful, unless i'm using the computer and want to hit an OTA link but i'm too lazy to type it into my phone 8/4/2009 10:01:27 AM |
