N capable wireless router. Please see the linksys site for details. Was used for literally about 1 week, and has been unplugged sitting in a drawer. Sells for new on Amazon for $90.

i just picked up one of these...you might want to add that it's a gigabit router, since that can be a big selling point

also, is it a v1 or a v2? if you look at the serial number, if it starts with F01 it's v1, if it starts with F11, it's v2...do you still have the box?

however, before anyone goes and checks if it's compatible with DD-WRT, it IS...but good luck getting it to work right...i can't even get mine to flash with DD-WRT, and those that have, it's a 75/25 shot of it being stable...to save you some time on the forums (both linksys' and DD-WRT's), it is suspected that there are some bad batches out there

i don't mean this to crap on your thread at all...the stock firmware is pretty good, i think, and except for the fact that the sucker gets HOT (like every other linksys product known to man), it's a good router if it works (which, again, is 75/25 in favor)

It is probably a V1. I had the box, but I think I chunked it a couple of weeks ago. I'll check when I get home.

any problems with the WRT160N? I just picked up a refurbished one from CompUSA, but I just wondered if I should return it and get another one?

this isn't meant to hijack the thread...i actually got my WRT310N flashed (you have to use IE, not firefox...go figure)...it's performing admirably at the moment

for $65, i think this is a pretty good deal, y'all

^ yeah, i know that NOW...i've flashed 10-12 routers in the past few years (all linksys, asus, or buffalo) and i've never used IE for it...i never thought to check the documentation for something i wasn't having issues for

I sent a message to Fred. He has through the weekend to pick it up if he really wants it.
