This is an opportunity for NCSU students, and since many people on here are technical majors interested in going abroad I figure its a good fit for TWW.

I've become involved with this club here at State over the past year called IAESTE, which is aimed at getting technical students international exposure through internships abroad. That means you can apply online for internships in Germany, Brazil, Australia, and over 80 other countries. These internships are paid just like any other, so all you need to cover is an application fee and airline expenses. Scholarships are available to cover these expenses.

IAESTE itself is an international non-profit organization that exchanges internships that are raised all over the world. You need to be a student in the sciences (engineering, bio, chemistry, physics, etc) to take advantage of this club. Work terms take place over the summers (6 and 10 week programs), semesters, and year-long programs are available. We've sent NCSU students in Engineering and Architecture to Switzerland, Brazil, Spain, and Portugal...and that was just this past summer.

If this sounds like something you could be interested in, check us out http://www.iaestencsu.org . We are having an informational meeting this Wednesday, September 9th at 7:30pm in Daniels 218.
