Today is not Sunday.

Today is Thursday.

After today, we will wait 2 more full days.

Then it will be Sunday.

/Thread.

I agree with the premise of the thread.

The wait between week 1 and week 2 is almost as bad as waiting for week 1.

After that it becomes more tolerable.

I, too, disagree. I'll take a Thursday night or saturday of college football over the NFL any day.

As far as the games themselves, its pretty even for me

And I gamble on both as well

but fantasy pushes the NFL over the top for me

I've tried to do college fantasy in the past and it just doesn't work

No way. My NCSU allegiance is stronger than any I will ever have for a pro team unless I work for them or something.

I'll watch NC State before any pro team, but overall the NFL is just much better.

Well I'm still love watching my college teams and other good games and watch them every chance I get. The problem is living so far away I hardly get to catch one in person. College games are more fun to go to imo than NFL so I do miss that.

But with fantasy and just 34 teams to keep up with i really do enjoy Sunday a little more than Saturday now unlike when I was in school heading to the games.

Yeah I used to like college better, but now that the San Antonio Lightining Jacks and the Orlando Ocutupi joined the league, NFL all the way, baby

I love to watch college too, but I prefer to watch NFL more because of fantasy and I bet on some NFL games. I never bet on college sports.

Of course I'd pick an NC State game over any NFL game, but overall, I enjoy the NFL more now...and I don't even have a fantasy team this year.

It also maybe have a little to do with Sundays really being my relaxing day because I still work on Saturdays. So I just sit there with a remote, my NFL package, and my new big, high-def flat screen and veg out on my ridiculously comfortable couch.

talked with my roommates about this yesterday

people that did not go to college, or at least a competitive D-1, or excuse me FBS, school will never understand why college football is much more exciting, entertaining, and more passionate than the NFL would ever be

^ so you and your idiot roommates determined this?

Well I grew up near Ann Arbor(huge UM fan) and went to State and I still think NFL is hands down the best(even when attending state).

CFB is a very close second but nothing will beat the NFL

I think about it this way: I love seeing my college's football team win more than "my" professional team, although both are great. However, I would much rather watch a random nfl game with teams I don't really care that much about than I would a comparable college match up.

Just for the record, I mistakenly put 34, not 32. By the time I noticed it was too late to edit

why wouldn't you like the NFL? there are rules against everything. entire teams take games off on purpose. there is so little offensive uniqueness that when one team runs a basic spread play and stupidly leaves their starting QB on the field as a WR, everyone in the league starts doing it as if it's god's gift to football.

at least the NFL has the NBA around to make it look like a well run league
