Hey everyone,

I am selling my drum set, cymbals and hardware. I'm cutting down on the hobbies I live in a townhouse so I can't play them anyway. I bought this set from indoor storm about 5 or so years ago and I have babied them ever since. The kit was custom built by maryland drum company. These drums are without a doubt the best sounding drums that I have ever had the chance of playing. Hands down, better than DW, Pearl, Tama, Gretsch, Taye, Premier, Sonor...all of them, there is no comparison.

If you want to play them, see how they sound, I have them set up in my place now, can't play them for long, but you can test them out and see for yourself. The demensions:

Drums: Bought them for $2400 + tax

22x18 bass
14x10 floor tom (hanging)
12x9 hanging tom
10x8 hanging tom
13x5 snare

Hardware:
All the hardware is is double braced, heavy duty, tama roadpro series.
Gibraltor and dw drum holders for the toms.
I have the iron cobra power glide double kick pedel and two leg iron cobra hi-hat stand
The drum throne is a pearl, biker style seat, very comfortable

Cymbals: all avedis zildjian
14" new beat hi hats
16" med/thin crash
18" med/thin crash
22" ping ride (best ride cymbal ever)

Prices:

Drums: I'd like to sell the kit as a whole, bought them for $2400 + tax
Would like to get $2000...OBO

Cymbals: I can piece them out if you want, but they sound best all together
$250 ping ride
$100 16" crash
$125 18" crash
$250 14" hats

The hardware should stay with the kit but
Stands: $100 each
Snare stand: $50
Iron cobra double kick: $225
Hi-hat stand: $100
Drum throne: $50

Kit with hardware and cases: $2600

All equipment is in Excellent condition, just a little dusty. I have 2cm padded bags for all the drums and a hardware case as well. Bid away if you wish. Only one tiny scratch on the bass drum. Pics are in gallery.

Thanks for looking

Did you know Maryland Drum Co. went out of business? They must not have been making a very good quality product.

That said, $1100 for all of it.

Yes they went out of business, however that has no connection to the quality of the drums that they had made. Look on any forum and you will see that Maryland Drum Company is considered one of the best custom drum companies in America. They sound, look, and feel better than any other drumset that I have ever played; however, that is just my opinion...any professional musician would agree that these are among the best. If you played them I'm am 100% sure that you would agree as well.

lol...I was just joking. I know they're good drums. I just don't want the cost of a car tied up in my drum set right now. I would seriously pick them up if you come way down on the price though. Good luck on your sale either way.

man, looks like a stellar set. I would love to set up a day to come jam on that kit, piss off your neighbors but pretend I'm interested, tell you all kinds of promising things like I'll call you in a couple days when I cash that check and and borrow that truck, then never follow through, ignore your calls, and avoid you on TWW until I'm reasonably sure you forgot who I am.

Yeaaa, I am too, one less drummer making racket in this world My days for hardcore rockin are over. Time for someone else to enjoy a nice kit. Up on ebay and CL.

I can part out the cymbals, or sell them as a set, make me an offer. Anyone interested?

[Edited on September 30, 2009 at 7:41 PM. Reason : I'll even polish up the cymbals for you and get those stick marks off! ]

i would do $500 for all the cymbals, but honestly i play really really hard and have a feeling i will crack through all of them pretty easily, and they are warranty'd at guitar center :/

Well I play pretty hard as well and haven't had a single problem with these. I've bent, cracked, destroyed, manhandled and completly destroyed my previous set of cymbals...I called zildjian, told em I wasn't happy and they gave me list price for my old cymbals and I got these and have had no problems.

Last time I checked zildjians policy was that you can call them and they will replace the broken/cracked one with the same cymbal OR give you list price towards the purchase of a new one, which is obviously what I did.

[Edited on September 30, 2009 at 11:22 PM. Reason : oh and the crashes are 16" and 18" MED/THIN crashes, they sound better to me ]
