does anyone else have the "problem" sometimes when you click on a different tab thats already open, it will move the tab out of the main window into a separate window, making you have to drag it back up in between other tabs? i'm not trying to drag a tab, just click on it...or could this be an issue with my laptop picking up false touchpad signals from my wrists being near it?

anyone else experience this?

this happens a bunch to me when I unlock the pc and immediately tab to chrome and the first tab I choose while the pc is crunching something will be grabbed and move to a separate window. only until version 3 came out was i able to drag it back to the main window with the other tabs...

What you're describing is a "feature" known as tab tearing. The real problem is that it's waaaay too sensitive.

yeah it's too sensitive. and it seems to be a bigger problem when the computer is bogged down.

I got used to it pretty quickly, but I see what you mean. I'd expect it to be corrected soon (I hope).

Something to try is to switch over to the beta channel:

http://www.google.com/intl/en/landing/chrome/beta/

Updates are more frequent, so your issue may already be resolved.

Ok I have another question about Chrome

At some point in the last couple days, I tried to use the Shift-R or Shift-A to make improve the quality of an image on a webpage. Now it seems like the default setting for any page I pull up are the lower quality images. If I mouse over one and hit Shift-A it improves the quality of the images on the page, but if I refresh the page, it goes back to the shitty graphics.

I've gone into the Options but the only thing I find graphic-related is whether or not to show images at all.

Any ideas? Version 5.0.375.55 btw

No ideas? Well I'm downloading the beta version anyway...hopefully that will fix some things...weird too because I even tried going back to all the default settings...and the pictures look great once I do Shift-A...just not before then, and not if I refresh the page

same issue even with the Beta installed...weird

EDIT #2

ok it appears this is a default feature when you're connected through a mobile cellular card...that explains it
