I've got my 2G IPhone I need to get rid of since I bought the new 3GS. It works perfectly fine has a slight scratch on the glass but I haven't messed with getting it out or anything like that. It is an 8GB phone. Comes with box, manuals, wall charger, usb charge cable, and desk top charge dock. I'll also throw in a car charger I've got for it as well as anything else I might find that I have. I looked at jailbreaking it and putting it on ebay for more money but I'm too lazy so I'm asking $100 obo from you tdubbers. Highest bid takes it.

If you say you will sell if for $100, then sell it for $100. Everyone should just not buy this thing unless you agree to sell it for your asking price. 9/28/2009 11:09:45 AM |

seriously, $150 for a 3 years old phone is not enough? I don't get why people go and pay that much for a 2G iphone. 10/2/2009 10:50:50 AM |

It actually drives capitalism, as the market corrects itself because of this greed.10/2/2009 8:37:12 PM |

In a "pure" market, perhaps. Be lucky this guy doesn't have a lobbyist. 10/2/2009 8:49:17 PM |

Greed causes foolish pricing, which creates new markets and new competitors. As long as the consumer has the ability to gather information, they will seek to find less costly options. The longer an overpriced product remains on the market, the costs associated with maintaining it accrue. In that time, a newer or more capable product can emerge, rendering the previous good obsolete or can force the seller to offer drastic price reductions to prevent it from becoming a larger loss. This is assuming that consumers have accurate information on which to base their decisions, and the market firms are numerous enough that they cannot collude to restrict downward movements on pricing.

you're right about foolish pricing. greed doesn't cause foolish pricing though. greed causes desire for maximum profit which wouldn't involve foolish pricing but would involve doing whatever possible (despite what or who you harm) to make as much profit as possible without having foolish pricing aka "highest bidder" salesmanship. 10/2/2009 9:28:05 PM |
