Ok so I was at Wake Tech 401 North campus Thursday night (rain and cold) and found this solid black kitten (3-4 months) in the storm drain. I picked him up and took him home in hopes of finding him a better place to live than what he was living in. I have given him a flea bath, fed and sheltered him. I will put this disclaimer, I absolutely hate cats. I am a dog person, I dislike cats...except for this one. This little cat walked right up to me and started purring and wanting me to pet it. I took it home, and he is just so chill. He just wants to sit in a lap or be held, not like other cats. He talks to you and just seems to be an extremely loving and well mannered cat. He is litter box trained. I would have taken a normal cat to the SPCA, but this cat is to sweet and nice to take there.

Please adopt this kitten, he deserves a good home. I would give him a home, but we have a no inside pet law at my house, and I feel he would be better off as an inside cat than an outside cat.

ftr, LOTS of cats are like this. 2 of my 3 are (the 3rd is an outdoor cat).

Ahh, well, either way, he's nice. I guess being a dog person I look at most all cats as mean little shits lol

Cat was picked up this afternoon by a young couple from Garner. They had 2 other pets and seemed very very excited to pick the cat up, so I'm happy. I hate to see it go, but know it's better off.
