Don't slam qntmfred with PM's, but now that he's been given more authority to actually DO shit around here, let's have a reasonable conversation about what would be nice to see sooner rather than later and where you'd like the site to go in the future.

For our new qntmoverlords, I'd be interested to see what your initial priorities and thoughts are about what would be most useful to fix and implement.

Priority goes to forming a new business plan to grow the site and generating enough cash to make it worth running. All other requirements (fix existing features, create new features, OMG!!! Ponies!!! pink theme, etc.) will flow from that. Anything else is only going to be short-term focused and not really going to provide long-term sustainability for the site.

Before he can even try to figure out a new business plan, he should try to fix some of the small bugs which are making "Oh Shit" Errors pop up on premie accounts when they log in. Today it didn't take long to log in, but some days I have to wait 30-40 seconds for my log-in to work.

i haven't yet performed any major changes to the site. the lack of oh shits that most people have enjoyed the last 2 weeks have just been the normal ups and downs of tww.

the good news is i'm almost done with the preparations i've been making, so that i CAN get in there and start making changes

please please please do not ever allow people to have signatures... would completely destroy the character of this message board. right now it is like a hybrid between a message board and chat room. Signatures and large repetitive non-relevant images would be a huge distraction and just clutter up the discussion. Plus, it only serves to fuel the user's narcissism. No one else gives a flying fuck what their signature quote or image is.

So what's the plan for the greasemonkey script stuff? I'd think you'd actually be able to roll that into the site officially now.


Also, are there any plans to update the layout from table-based to pure css? I don't mean dramatically, but the fact is we can clean this shit up a bit and make it look hot. If so, I wanna help on that.
