Windows laptop: 114 (maybe 5-10 of those come from me being lazy and putting the program in the Startup folder) Linux VMs: 200+ AIX lab server: I really don't want to find out 10/28/2009 12:55:44 AM |

i think my home computer (Vista 64bit) has around 70 which amazes me because i try to keep it's startup to a minimum and barely run any 3rd party software 10/28/2009 8:29:50 AM |

wrong. a 64 bit OS maxes out at 64 processes, so you are obviously either lying or can't count.

Why would I lie to be on the high side? Maybe if I wanted to be on the low side. Anyways, earlier I had just booted and was browsing the internets when I came across this thread and it said I had 66 processes - 1 for IE for typing what I did earlier = 65. I did forget that outlook is in the startup folder so I am at 64.
