The title says it all. I want to pay less than $30.00 for a used copy of Pokemon Platinum, which is about how much it costs at Gamestop. Hopefully, whatever I pay you will be better than what Gamestop'd pay.

This is supremely important. I haven't played Pokemon since Blue, and I have got to catch them all.

I know that it is an egregious violation of the forum rules to bump your own thread. But I thought that the urgency of my Pokemon Situation was enough to merit such behavior.

I made postings on facebook, craigslist, and thewolfweb. I still haven't gotten any responses. I guess you might be asking, "why should I sell my Pokemon Platinum game?"

Well here are some reasons. First, consider how many hours you have spent - and will continue to spend - playing the game. You could spend those hours doing so many other things, like homework or meeting people of the opposite sex (or people of the same sex) or picking up a hobby or anything, really. And if you do find a date (and you assuredly will), the money that I paid you for the game can go towards dinner or a movie or something.

The next reason is that, like so many people, I spent a large portion of my boyhood playing pokemon. And talking about pokemon. And watching the TV show. Especially Misty. I guess my point is that this isn't just about the game, its about helping someone relive their childhood. Its about enabling someone who left Pokemon behind with his adolescence.

My teen spirit from adolescence has been replaced by a bottled spirit in adulthood.

So. *bump*. Does anyone have a copy of this game that they'd be willing to sell?
