Please dont start any "fire (insert name here)" chants at the football game. We have recruits and shit that attend the game. There's no way you'd want to attend a school that when you visited they got their asses handed to them and everyone was chanting to fire the coach/athletic director, etc. Chanting at a game like that does no good whatsoever. Save that shit for here or elsewhere.

On top of all that it just puts icing on the cake for UNC. If we went to CH and beat them as bad as last year AND they are yelling to fire Butch or anyone else, it would just make the win that much sweeter.

Learn to be a good fan and if you can't handle it then leave the game early and go yell at your tailgate or something.

Who gives a shit if recruits are there and hear it or not. We obviously are going to suck dick under Lee Fowler at everything with or without them. It's been proven by his horrible track record here at NC State the past 11 years. Sometimes you gotta have tough love.

If playing the Canadian National Anthem had anything to do with the Canes recent performance, then go for it.

Plus I doubt a few idiots chanting about Lee Fowler at a football game is going to be the straw that broke the camels back... either for getting rid of him or in turning off potential recruits. In both cases if losing to our rival in yet another shameful performance doesn't do it, nothing will.

you will not get 60,000 fans to do so, probably 20,000+ in attendance do not know who Lee Fowler is. Even if you get 1/3 of the stadium to chant it, nothing will come from that. It's not news that people are displeased with our football team defense's performance, some of the coaching decisions, or Lee Fowler.

All that chanting will do is get bad press. It takes the people who donate the big $$$$$$ to make a significant difference.

The only outcome that could come from chanting is a negative reaction from media and recruits. If you want Fowler gone then start a petition and get signatures, or find some appropriate venue other than a bunch of idiots chanting a game (most of which would be students, even more worthless towards persuading a decision)

Well, look at it this way. The women's volleyball team is probably going to bring in roughly the same amount of money whether they are 6-177 or if they are 136-47. Seems like people will fill Carter Finley to capacity even when we are a team that has to get lucky to win one conference game. It's all about the money and there doesn't seem to be a huge financial incentive to get a new AD. After all, a decent AD would likely cost more than Fowler, so getting rid of him actually has a short term negative financial impact. There doesn't appear to be any long term negative financial impact by keeping him on, so status quo.

And let's face it. This is NCSU. If we somehow did get rid of Fowler they'd just hire on Daniel Snyder as a replacement.
