My gf is considering a transfer from Meredith to that other school down I-40 >.> Her current roommate still wants to room with her next year. They are looking for an apartment either in between UNC and Meredith/Raleigh, somewhere in Cary, or somewhere near I-40. Suggestions please? It would be 2 people. Price matters but shouldn't limit reasonable suggestions.

Thanks in advance for all ya'lls' help.

P.S. Is it ya'lls' or ya'll's?

If you want to be in between Chapel Hill and Raleigh, or more specifically UNC and NCSU, the halfway point is probably going to be in the vicinity of RTP. So you might want to look there, in the Southpoint/Woodcroft area of Durham, or in Morrisville. Cary to UNC isn't going to be much better than Raleigh; depending on where in Cary it could even be farther away.

Durham gets a bad rap but as long as you're careful, it's fine. I live near Southpoint and haven't had any problems--might want to check out 1520 Magnolia, The Lodge @ Southpoint, some of the apartments/condos in Woodcroft, South Terrace @ Auburn, or others around there. We looked at several of those before ending up renting a house.

one day in the future, you will be faced with the terrible realization that your tww handle should have not been your unity ID. this will come as a result of having posted some all too revealing information about your dwindling relationship and loose gf.

I currently live in a condo at Waterford at Cary Park. They are each individually owned, but a lot of them are managed by leasing companies. So, we lease ours through Cameron Property Management, and they show up on craigslist a lot.

For a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, it's about 1400 square feet. Patio/porch (depending on your floor), each comes with a separate storage unit. It's also a secure building--no one can get to your front door without a key or code to the building. I go to UNC and it takes me 17 minutes on average to get to the law school. We're maybe the same-ish distance to NCSU's campus. We're within maybe a mile of where NC 540 dead ends into NC 55.

Here's information--it's awesome and we love it here.

Don't rent from the Preiss Company, but they're managing one of the condos, to give you an idea: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/apa/1461075532.html
