Oh that's easy bc mine already exists/has happened...my bro and sister in law aren't celebrating yet another holiday with my bro and i's parents bc my brother has more daddy issues than a girl and sil is still pissed about something that happened 13 years ago ( which they've apologized for many times).
I mean...I'm still suprised no one killed each other on our wedding day.
I just feel bad for the grandparents and other family that they indirectly hurt bc of their refusal to be in the same room. Oh and me bc I would LOVE to spend thanksgiving and Christmas with my brother...it's been 3 years. 11/25/2009 7:56:02 AM

last year we didn't really have a thanksgiving at all cause my uncle was in the hospital recovering from an aneurysm that he should have died from so that was kind of dramatic - but no ones fault!
this year if i can make it the drama will probably be about the food and will probably be my grandmother instigating. she's like that. an instigator. i don't even get why. she may even talk shit about my cousin's wedding we just went to even though his dad and brother (not to mention the rest of the family) will be there.
most likely she'll talk shit about her sister who's husband just died and her brother who's wife is dying of cancer. she doesn't understand why people that are terminally ill just can't get better and she doesn't mind saying it to their face either 11/25/2009 8:11:24 AM

^2 I would seriously want to punch your g-ma in the face if I heard her say that to someone with cancer... No offense or anything.
The drama I will probably witness isn't even with my own family, but I have a feeling something' gonna go down w/ my s.o.'s family... At least then I can just sit back and watch the drama instead of being involved! 11/25/2009 8:17:45 AM

I'm used to the normal drama of my older siblings competing for attention and approval, but my brother decided he would (now won't??) come this year and my dad's ex wife invited herself so this could get interesting. I may have to hit up some friends for a couch to sleep on if it gets too crazy 11/25/2009 8:18:07 AM

I'm pretty good at removing myself from family drama and watching as if it doesn't involve me. Most of the stuff the half siblings are mad about happened long before I was born anyway. And they're just going to have to get over the fact that my parents give me so much attention, my personality kind of demands it 11/25/2009 8:44:43 AM

WAT?!
my grandma has kidney cancer and my grandfather had a stroke and just recently was diagnosed with lung cancer. grandma had to stop chemo b/c it's taking too much of a toll on her body. papa's mental faculties are rapidly declining and you never really know what to expect of him, esp when he starts to talk. this weekend my uncle is sneaking all the guns out of the house and my husband is disabling them. my mom and uncle are taking away his keys (papa's true love is driving). he probably won't notice the gun thing, and thankfully i'll be w/ the in-laws on sunday when they take his keys.
so yes, drama, but not the stupid selfish attention whore who just wants to ruin everthing kind. we won't see that until we go to my dad's side of the family for xmas. yay! 11/25/2009 10:29:12 AM

my Grandmother called me Monday to make sure me and my brother are going to Thanksgiving. Of course I am going, I go every year. She was just calling to make sure I make my brother go. So now its my fault if my brother doesn't go. He is 27 and I'm 23. wtf. Furthermore, she wants a photo of all the grandkids, which is sweet except my cousin is 6 months pregnant with a bastard baby that we're all ashamed of. I bet she really wants her picture take with the rest of the grandkids that aren't total fuck ups. Drama will ensue. 11/25/2009 10:31:55 AM

seventy3, ahaha my family's been doing that shit with my grandfather these past few weeks.
He hid his alzheimer's from everyone for as long as he could, so now, all of a sudden, everything is hitting VERY fast and quite hard, too.
He had agreed to terms set forth by the entire family regarding his driving (namely, that it was his wife's decision as to whether or not he was okay to drive at any given point).
When he got physically abusive when she told him he wasn't okay to drive last week?, my uncle scheduled a driving test for Monday. Mom felt the need to do down there so as to protect his wife.
Because of all the alzheimer's stuff, there's a fuckton of tension coming to the surface regarding christmas, expectations, and people being selfish. I'm not looking forward to christmas with my family at all

I'm sure I'll have plenty to tell you all about once I go. My mother in law is the biggest drama monster I have ever seen. Were going to be staying in their cold dusty basement because they use their only spare bedroom for an extension of her closet, because she's a huge shopping addict. My wife's brother is a creepy little guy who you would think is 13 even though hes 21, and I blame it entirely on his moms incessant babying him. There's so much more fucked up about this family, but it would take pages to tell it all. 11/25/2009 2:09:23 PM

well, i don't know where to begin! Lots of it involves some randoms messaging me (not TWWers/PMs I'm referring to, though I get PMs ), and one with an ex-boyfriend. I had an ex-boyfriend profess his love to me via text message! I mean...we've been broken up what...2 years and he's gotta be layin' this on NOW?! He says he realizes now that when he was with me he loved me but was too scared to tell me. Might be a "suave" attempt @ gettin some pussy. 11/25/2009 2:21:00 PM

i's. i think i've only heard one other person use that. for a first person possessive pronoun you can use my/mine, or in your case you could have just said "our parents".
