Shit I'm currently working on:
1) chicken coop- the big building project of the year. We are finishing the roof and sides of the house this weekend.
2) saddlebags for the dog- need to modify the front breaststrap- too low.
3) quilt- one of those "forever" type projects. 11/25/2009 6:21:28 PM |

FeebleMinded how long did it take you to put together that puzzle? I am working on the starry night 2000pc puzzle.
I have probably spent 40hrs on it now and I am still not done. It is a difficult puzzle due to the colors and style of the painting. 12/6/2009 9:11:56 PM |

all i have to say is that the howl's moving castle picture is no where near as awesome as the way the thing looks in person. 12/7/2009 11:04:22 AM |

Like Matt just pointed out, the castle is from the movie Howl's Moving Castle, so I make no claims of originality. It still took well over 100 hours to construct over a period of 3-4 months and is pretty intricate, but it's not of my own design.
It took so long because of details like this:
Every little house "growing" on the side of the castle has a roof with shingles that are crimped by hand, and there are lots of other little details like that. The gun turrets can swivel in place, the eyes can rotate in their sockets, some of the gears move, etc.

'K' pendant I made for my wife (gf at the time) when I worked at a jewelry store.
Charm bracelet, same deal.
And I didn't make this, but my dad made four stainless steel propane grills.
