Have any of you gotten your refund back yet? I submitted mine the first week of June, got back some bullshit letter October 17th saying that they didn't receive a document that I already sent them.. Called back today for them to tell me its gonna be at least another 60 days and to send anything that I have that confirms my address.

Maybe it will come by February..

I submitted a 1040X in July and I am still waiting for the $8k. When I called the IRS after waiting 12 weeks I was basically told that my request was being audited, I subsequently received a letter that essentially requested a copy of the HUD statement. I sent that back a few weeks ago, but I'm not expecting anything for months. This whole thing has taken a ridiculously long amount of time.

What pisses me off is that I would have gladly included a copy of the HUD from the beginning, but it was not requested in the FTHBC IRS form. I probably should have just sent it from the beginning, but I didn't anticipate all the fraud out there.
