Ever since I have installed AVG on my Netbook it does not finish hibernating. When I turn it back on I have to "delete restoration data" basically doing a clean boot.
I have googled this problem every which way but can not find any help on it. 12/2/2009 12:22:07 AM |

It's rated very highly by quite a few sources. Apparently Microsoft got it right, for once. 12/2/2009 8:41:36 AM |

Review from Ars Technica: http://arstechnica.com/microsoft/news/2009/09/first-look-microsoft-security-essentials-impresses.ars
Quote : | "Although MSE might not boast as many features as OneCare did, it is a lot better at what it does do. It's free, and it requires no registration, trial versions, or license renewals. It really does automatically stay up-to-date. Most core functions can be activated with a single click. It is also very lightweight.
Based on what we've seen so far, we have to recommend that you at least give the product a download. Everyone currently using free antimalware software should give it a shot, and those with paid solutions should think about taking MSE for a spin before renewing subscriptions. " |

I falsely accused AVG of causing this. I was going off the fact that the problem started around the time I installed AVG, I uninstalled AVG and still the same problem.
I do not have much software on this netbook, MS Office is pretty much the only thing installed. Any ideas of what else to try. 12/2/2009 9:56:00 AM |
