So I can no longer house my little guy and need to find him a good home. His name is Kaos and he is about 7 years old. He is pretty mild tempered for the most part as long as you dont get between him and his food. He is not recommended for small children though. He lives in a cage most of the time but can run around outside in a supervised location for limited amounts of time. He eats a special blend specific for chinchillas available at major pets stores and timothy hay. One of the coolest things he does is take dust baths though. Check it out on you tube. With Kaos you will also get his cage fully stocked, a bag of food, a bag of timothy hay, his dust bath container, dust bath, and a chinchilla care book.

Asking price is $100, this will be negotiable based on prior experience with chins or similar animals.

if we werent already breaking our (technically nonexistent) lease by havign one chinchilla, I might try to get a second one and get them to get along... now whether that would happen, I don't know...

they look almost alike though, except Charlie is fatter

^well if you are already kinda breaking your lease with one, how would a second chinchilla be that much more different?

On a side note he has never met another chinchilla since I have had him, about 3 years, so I am not sure how he plays with others. I do know he did not get along with my old roommates rabbits, though they were really mean POS's to begin with
