i know that freaking sucks cause i like that show but it isn't like real enough.

i really like trauma life in the er cause its real life so there's blood and exposed bone and shit. i still kinda like untold stories of the er cause the stories are crazy but its all re-enactment so that is kind of a bummer. there's another one about inner city hospitals thats like real life - cameras in the ER or whatever. i like that one too. lots of GSWs

i KNOW! there is a marathon of that on right now. i love that. i need actual surgeries or actual trauma that shit is cool. well the psych week stuff looks cool i'm sure that will be touchy feely but it is weird enough to hold my interest.

the pregnancy stuff irritates me. that is ALL that is on during the daytime. probably for the preggers moms that don't work (no offense, that just isn't my thing)

yeah my old favorite was "Plastic surgery, before and after." The would show the surgeons doing the actual procedure ... like putting silicon in lips and stuff. It's gross but I just can't look away ...

I, too, <3 Discovery Health. All my friends think I'm weird because I watch all the gross shows, and my bf hates it, but I like to try to figure out what is wrong before the doctors do on Mystery Diagnosis and stuff. Psych Week is gonna be great!

omg right now on untold stories of the ER there's a psych patient that has been abducted by herself or something

she has multiple personality disorder: mary (tries to kill people), theresa (crazy psycho), susie (normal/nice)

OK CORRECTION: mary had abducted theresa and susie rescued theresa from mary and like cut susie up and took all her clothes and beat her up. theresa is deaf/mute. so when she came to the hospital she was all beat up and she was theresa who is deaf/mute and couldn't communicate with the doctors but said MARY did it to her.

then finally she went back to susie.

so weird.

OCD is creepy--MTV did a True Life on kids with OCD, and this poor girl had to wake up 3 hours early for school to be on time because of all of her routines. Then there was this sad follow up that she had to drop out of college because of it.

People who pull out their hair (I know it's called trichotillomania, because I saw some talk show about it years ago) can end up totally bald--it's like a nervous habit. I used to pull out little pieces of my hair but not to the extent that it would be classified as a problem. I just thought it felt funny.

now there's some shit about rage on. i thought MY mom over reacted to shit - these people are like so far beyond what i ever experienced. i don't know how these kids live with these parents like the kitchen is spotless and the mom will be like "LOOK AT THIS MESS AHHHHHHH"

my mom definitely overreacted in a lot of situations but not like these enraged people. and it got better as i got older cause i just stopped fighting back. i'd just be like "ok mom its not really that big of a deal calm down" instead of like yelling back like i did when i was 15. man, my teenage years were kinda rough haha.

i can't imagine how this girl is going to survive her teenage years with her mom

^ in class when i'm bored i look at my hair sometimes and pull out the ones with split ends or i find really wirey/coarse ones and i pull those out. but that doesn't happen that frequently.
