how long after it has been processed does it take for the school to certify or approve the loan?

Did you sigh the MPN (master promissory note) online or via paper? I had mine "in process" for about a week after I signed it online with a bank. It showed up in mypack about 1.5 weeks after the initial date, which was a few days before the due date at State. Of course, the money doesn't get applied til the first week of school (same with any excess reimbursement). As long as you do it soon, you shouldn't worry about it too much, the bank wants your money so they'll process it in time.

I'm in a similar situation. I accepted the loan a couple of weeks ago and have yet to receive any information regarding the MPN. I also have no idea who to call regarding it.

Shit. I still haven't heard from these assholes, and there's no way I can get at other money by that deadline.

God-fucking-damn it.

They say it was "sent to lender" on the 8th. Who knows what the hell that means?
