I have a '95 ZJ 6cyl that I need to swap out the warn mounts. For a weekend warrior like myself do you think this is doable on a Saturday afternoon? Also, where would you get the mounts from? Just looking at the Autozone store on Glenwood they do not have any in stock.

new motor mounts? on my 4.0 liter cherokee, i got new mounts from napa/advance/auto zone (don't remember where, but they all have them) used a jack on the engine bellhousing with a block of wood in between the jack and engine, put slight pressure on the engine, swapped out the mounts, and then released the pressure on the jack. same with the trans. the mounts are not hard to get off, just may be a little cumbersome if the vehicle is on the ground.

Ok thanks for the input. Yeah I was just looking online yesterday and the website said that the store did not have any in stock.

Definitely an afternoon job for the average weekend warrior. I did have some problems getting the motor mounts lined up on my comanche, but that sheet metal frame has seen better days. I wouldn't be surprised if it was fairly tweaked.

I had to use my winch cable wrapped around and under the bumper to pull the engine forward and to the left to get one mount installed

Wow! I really hope I don't need to do all that!
