i keep hearing people referring to black people as thugs. and not just "thugs" like the self-proclaimed rapper thug guys.

example 1, every time i read a news story online where a black person did a crime theres always a comment like "GAH STUPID THUGS"

also at the mall or out shopping elsewhere, you hear people commenting about thugs everywhere.


THEREFORE, I OPINE THAT THIS IS WORD HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO A RACIAL SLUR. (another harmless word like porch monkey!)

Sure, some people use it as a generic term for criminals, regardless of skin color... but you're pretty naive/ignorant if you don't realize that there are plenty of racist people who use it synonymously for the word nigger.
