i always hear the commercials for this at Backyard Bistro, but they don't tell you what it is. Looks weird, but I'd like to taste it. 12/25/2009 3:10:03 PM

Anywhere around the Triangle area that serves poutine?
I first had it in Seattle a couple years ago and fell in love with it.
I know about Milltown in Carrboro (pretty much the only reason I go there)
Backyard Bistro used to have it but they no longer offer it on their menu. Which is ok because their poutine wasn't that good. 4/20/2014 3:31:03 PM

I heard Milltown in Carrboro has it.
But seriously, it's ok to eat cheese fries if you give them a fancy name? I'm down. 4/20/2014 5:34:10 PM

I've never had it at Joule because there's so many good things on the menu. Well, I should say I just didn't see it on the menu. Short rib biscuits and gravy people... it's at another level.
But next time I'm there (might as well call it next weekend) I'll have to try the poutine. Haven't been to Milltown yet, and I might try it there. 4/20/2014 6:12:27 PM

Poutine is not fancy at all, and the name is just french, not really fancy.
It's just street/bar food, no more fancy than chili cheese fries or nachos.
^^^ It's delicious. I've made it myself a few times.

Yes, I have had the poutine there numerous times (including just a few days ago)
Just looking to see if any other place has it. I'm going to try the Joule poutine soon. And I'll have to go to Capital Club 16 too
Its not that hard to make. Its just French fries, gravy and cheese curds. 4/21/2014 9:19:37 PM
