I'm going to try to read a book each week next year. I have a shitload of books that I haven't read yet, and plus I'm hoping to try to cut back on the time I waste fuckin' around on the internet.
So who's with me? 12/29/2009 1:13:55 PM |

Oh man, this is going to be hard finding 52 new books, I'm sure I'll reread some books. 12/29/2009 1:25:18 PM |
ShawnaC123 2019 Egg Champ 46681 Posts user info edit post |
For my 52 books, I'm going to try to make them all new books I haven't read, but we'll see how that goes cause I might just really want to reread a book. I think I have probably close to 52 books here I haven't read so it shouldn't be hard. Plus I go to thrift shops throughout the year and buy books for 50 cents. I'm gonna use this thread to keep my running list of what books I've read. Everyone else should feel free to do the same. 12/29/2009 1:27:54 PM |

Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have put this in chit chat with all the idiots. Entertainment may have been better, but oh well.
I need to finish Lovely Bones before Jan 1, then I can read Time Traveler's Wife and finish Eclipse for my first two books. 12/29/2009 1:44:24 PM |

See, I'd be all about reading more if it was just a substitute for wasting time on the internet. But I only do that when I'm at work and I don't think it'd be cool if I just sat back and read a book all the time in my cube
I have 4-5 books I'm waiting to read for the first time, plus 2 others I want to reread but at the rate I go those 6ish books will last me all year, if not longer. I used to read a lot more when I lived in NYC; whenever I'd take the subway anywhere I would just pull out the book and read.12/29/2009 1:47:19 PM |

^^yeah I just started yesterday and haven't read much of it, and am already a third of the way through.
^I was just thinking the other day that I'd love to be able to take public transit so I could read. I have an hour long commute to school every day and it seems like such wasted time. 12/29/2009 1:49:00 PM |
