I'd like an optical mouse. Doesn't have to be anything fancy. I prefer a wired mouse, but a wireless will be okay. I will consider a ball mouse if it's free. Just need something that works and wanted to check to see if someone had a spare that they didn't need or want anymore before I spent $5 + tax on an optical Logitech at Wallyworld.

The kind that is too cheap to support the economy by buying batteries

I've got rechargeable batteries, and wireless really doesn't matter.
