I'm selling a Red 1987 MR2 5spd with 115K original miles. I want $500 for it or best offer. This car is best for a mechanic that wants to fix it up or someone with a similar MR2 that could use the parts.

The car needs to be towed from my house (near Western Blvd and Blue Ridge) and here is why:

About 5 months ago the front brakes went out in the car and it has been sitting since then.
I didn't want to spend anymore money on it and it was time for a new car anyways.

Since it has been sitting so long:
-The battery is dead
-The clutch has no more pressure.

5 months ago when it was running, It drove like a dream. This thing has amazing handling and I had no engine problems.
But it did have the following problems:
-No AC and no heat
-The front hood shuts but doesn't latch down. This is a common problem in older cars and is easily fixable. The hood doesn't fly up or anything.

The tires are fairly nice and the interior is nice as well. It has the original paint job as you can see with the hood details.
The only accident it has been in was a hydroplane accident where I hit the median on the front passenger side. Damage was minimal and fixed as much as possible.

SOLD! for $400

and sorry to the guy on here that came out of his way to see it and got the cash and everything, but I had to be a complete asshole to him for a bit more money and change my mind.

The guy that ended up getting it is a huge MR2 enthusiast, took off work early to come see it with an extra battery, got it to start and had to overdraft his bank account to get enough money for it. Kudos to you sir and have fun with it!
