It is going to be awesome to see the boys actually able to race this year. I'm glad there going allow them to actually bump this year and with the larger restricter plates it's going to be interesting.

Can't wait for Daytona.

I can no longer stand junior. Growin up in NC I have been raised an Earnhardt family. But Jr can't win and its always the damn crew chiefs fault. It drives me insane.

so hendrick had 5 teams in the chase and jr was 25th in 2009 counting stewart/haas. how do you explain that other than jr cant drive the cot or communicate what the car is doing?

now if they'd just get rid of that stupid "race for the chase" and add a few more road courses, I'd be a big fan.

i was agreeing with you. i misunderstood your first post. i thought you were blaming the crew chiefs, but after you clarified, i saw that you were pointing out what jr does.

sorry brah

^^because you cant see an entire race from one spot at a road course.

the chase is probably one of the better points system in racing.

^ TheDuke said that he would like to see more roadcourses. You said "because you cant see an entire race from one spot at a road course." I stated that not being able to see the entire track from anywhere at the track doesn't mean anything, especially when you take in consideration that the most popular motorsport in the road is F1, which strictly races on road courses. The fact that many road courses can't be viewed by spectators anywhere doesn't mean much in terms of a track being the chase or not. I also asked for your point, because I didn't really see one in there.

If you're not saying that, then you need to be clearer with what you're saying.

^^ They're replacing the backend of the Riley IIRC. They're not bringing in the backup from Texas. Rather, Jimmie is having his personal plane fly to Charlotte to get the assembly, where they're then going to weld it on.

" NASCAR created some rule changes designed to spice up the racing, and several drivers said it succeeded. Looking at a black-and-white transcript, it was impossible to tell if Biffle was being honest or sarcastic.

"That's what we were looking for -- aggressive bump-drafting [and] trust me, we're not finished," Biffle said. "What are we, 20-30 minutes into practice? It's gonna be awesome."

Biffle said not only did he not have "a sense that something was about to happen," he didn't know what had occurred. A number of drivers said from their cockpits, the cars around them appeared to be a handful to drive."
