I'm going to Beech Mtn. next weekend and taking my snowboard. I have a Yakima roofrack, but no snowboard rack for it.
Does anyone have one I could borrow for the weekend? I'll give you something for collateral, haha.
I would just put it inside my car, but I'm gonna have like 5 people in my Honda Accord, lol. 1/22/2010 1:12:41 PM |

why not just strap it to your roof rack?

I've strapped boards directly to roof racks and run a cable lock through the bindings. The ski racks are convenient though if you can find a set. 1/22/2010 1:38:57 PM |

I will just strap it on the roofrack if I cant borrow one. Just figured I'd give it a shot.
StingrayRush, why dont you come over and try and fit a 158cm snowboard in the truck of an Accord. I cant even fit my hunting rifle case in there.

I have an older Thule snowboard rack that's similar to the current 575 mount, except it clamps on to square tubes. Not sure if it'll go ona yakima roofrack, but if it'll work you're welcome to borrow it. 1/22/2010 6:16:13 PM |

^Thanks! I might give it a try if I cant find a yak rack. I believe I've read that they're compatible. 1/22/2010 6:45:31 PM |
