I think I'm leaving the hospital tomorrow. I don't need surgery, which is good, but recovery is going to be slow. I'll get through it though.

glad to see you're well enough to leave the hospital already. what kind of recovery are we talking? how long do they expect it to take? do you need physical therapy? are you on crutches/wheelchair?

I'm not sure exactly how long it's going to take, but I have to be really careful not to put any weight on my left leg for at least a couple weeks. I am getting a badass walker because it helps me more than crutches. I do also have crutches though so I'll probably graduate to those. I will probably have to get PT. I'll know more for sure tomorrow when they talk about letting me out.

I have 3 broken ribs, pelvis fractured in 3 places and also one of my vertebrae has a chip out of it. I may have to wear a back brace sometimes when I'm out and about.

Thumper you can definitely bring me some movies. Nightmare and whatever else you think I might like (and my bf, so don't go too crazy with the chick flicks)

The ortho surgeon just came in and said she is actually able to put all of her weight on her left leg (broken hip side). He said it won't hurt her bone. So, when she feels up to it, she can walk. She should get out today and is definitely ready to. She said she appreciates all the kind thoughts, words and gestures.
