the entire network including all of the local sites are gone

the crappy part is that I don't think he gave any advance notice at all

I posted over there sometimes. As recently as yesterday I think. But it isn't working for me right now. Which is really nothing new, it only worked for me half the time at best. It made tdub's loading failures look minuscule by comparison.

Its too bad tdub couldn't take in the refugees. It wouldn't be enough people to change our culture, but free accounts offered to the campusblender users might get us a little new blood with people already comfortable with the tdub style layout.

TWW just had a free account sign up using any .edu e-mail address for a 24 hour period I don't think there would be a huge rush of non-ncsu people. All we'd have to do is find someway to let the campusblenders know about it...

It's sad really. The worst part is the he refuses to believe that he choked what little bit of life was left there.

On a message board, where the most heavily traveled section sees maybe 10 new threads a day, all of his padding/ making 20 worthless threads a day / etc... made the signal to noise ratio too much to bear. No site can sustain itself like that. Even the users that would routinely go to the site would have to sift through all of that rubbish just to see anything significant.
